Signs of Spring, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

Tulips blooming downtown in front of Pilgrim Hall.

A cherry tree in full bloom along Warren Avenue.

Cherry tree in bloom.

Trees are beginning to leaf out.

A downtown view along Court Street - the spire at the Spire is visible in the distance.

The Captain John fleet ready at dock for sightseers.

A fresh spring breeze makes for good walking along the downtown waterfront.

The Plymouth lobsters seem to have weathered the winter just fine. There are "29 uniquely finished lobsters each measuring 5 feet tall in various locations around town. The fiberglass structures are sponsored by local businesses and organizations; each is custom designed and hand painted by local artists." Source: Plymouth Chamber of Commerce

If I wanted to make a bad joke I could call this a "rock lobster."

Perhaps this is the peace and love lobster.

Life is good in "America's Hometown."
